ddm provided Ferris with a method to quickly and easily change the contents of the course catalog database - without having to learn database or web programming. It is now possible for authorized users to log in and change database content via a series of web forms. Type here and "submit." That's all it takes. The online catalog stays accurate because it's easy for the right people to make the right kind of changes.

Accurate online data is one thing, but getting that back to print has traditionally been a massive undertaking. Version 2 of this site involved not only speeding up the page delivery, but also dynamically creating PDFs of the program requirements. Data is entered only once and is immediately available in a readily printable format. Combining this new function with ddm's own custom PDF assembly tool allowed FSU staff to prepare an instant, customized course catalog ready for whomever needs it.
